Soo if anyone has been to the Bay (yes...the department store) in the past couple years you may have noticed a drastic change in their buying style. I have always loved their classic line of "bay gear" teehee but recently I have also been loving their ability to find cool new brands providing a shopping experience reminiscent of Bloomingdales. a.k.a brands like Free People, Beyond Vintage, See by Chloe, Halston Heritage etc...
AND NOW they are introducing "the room" which will showcase over 70 high end designers. There is already a "room" in Toronto at the downtown location which, by the way, also features a healthy selection of lines only available at Topshop...one of my fave NYC shopping spots, comparable to H&M.
The Room opens in Vancouver late fall 2011....
Basically it is a luxury department designed to rival Holts as the sole provider of luxury in Canada.
Nothing like depleting a healthy bank account at one of Canada's oldest establishments. hehe. i kid.
