So maybe this is normal for "iceberg season" in St. John's, Newfoundland but I was pretty shocked to see these photos of a 260 square km chunk that floated over from Greenland's Petermann Glacier last August.
Apparently it's normal to see three or four this time of year but they have had 25 icebergs just 16 km off the shoreline - the greatest iceberg season in recent history WOW
Would probably be worth the trip to check them out!
